Stiletto Whiskey

Co-Founder’s Note

I am a whiskey drinker. I also happen to be a woman. Now, I know what you are thinking, it’s an unusual juxtaposition, and you aren’t alone. I’m more than familiar with that sideways look a bartender gives when a woman orders a whiskey cocktail, or worse yet, when ordering straight whiskey over a large cube. You know the one, the “are you sure you wouldn’t rather have a Cosmo or a nice glass of Rosé?”

Let’s go back a few years to the time when we were all beginning to venture out again, as the worldwide pandemic loosened its grip. Like many of you, my husband (and co-founder) David and I cautiously set out to a local spot for some drinks, when, upon ordering, I was once again met with the all too familiar “are you sure?” look. Mind you, my husband just ordered the same without a hitch. That brought upon a discussion about women and whiskey, and led to the obvious question — why is it that nobody seems to craft whiskeys with women in mind? In fact, it was that very question that began our adventure, ultimately culminating in Stiletto

With the help of a master distiller, we set out to create a unique flavor profile, one that would be both warm and spicy and with just a hint of sweetness. From there, we began hosting tasting parties with my closest girlfriends, in hopes of finding a mouth-feel and flavor that would appeal to a wide variety of palates. Shifting our attention to packaging, we designed a bottle and logo that would radiate elegance, with a bold yet sophisticated allure, that, paired with the smokey warmth of our whiskey, would entice women (and men alike) to cozy up to a glass.

Our “Founder’s Edition” is our first offering, marking the end of Stiletto’s exciting first chapter. Don’t worry, though, the next chapter has already begun and we have plenty of exciting things in the works, including some pre-mixed cocktails we are sure you’ll love. In the meantime, we invite you to pull up a stool, grab a glass, and join the growing movement of “women that whiskey” with Stiletto

Enjoy,

Sherry Cask Finish

$84.99

Stiletto’s first cask offering is not merely a drink—it’s an experience, a celebration of boldness and grace, where every sip feels like a secret unveiled.

Color:

The appearance, a golden amber which mirrors the complexity beneath-a visual prelude to the flavors that follow.

Nose:

The aroma is one of fruit and spice, where cinnamon and dried apple intertwine with vanilla’s creamy embrace.

Palate:

The flavor is a crescendo of caramel and black currant, with a hint of sherry’s citrus zing.

Finish:

The finish is a lingering dance where oak tannins gently fade into a silky warmth that lingers luxuriously over the tongue.
